Details
SIZES: Imperial fine thread size 1/4-28 (.250"-28), Imperial coarse thread size 1/4-20 (.250"-20) and metric size M6. Multiple counterbores available.
MATERIALS: Baseplate is 304 or A-286 stainless steel, aluminum, or anodized aluminum. Nut element is A-286 stainless steel with dry film lubrication. Optional epoxy primer on bonding surface of baseplate.
FEATURES: Thread-lock performance and nutplate strength per NASM25027 or ISO5858 and thread form compliant with AS8879 or ISO5855. Optional non-locking nut element available.

This product is designed for use in precision-critical aerospace applications, especially in locations where foreign object debris (FOD) control is vital. The disposable elastic installation fixture simplifies installation and alignment. CB3009 nutplates reduce assembly time associated with traditional riveted nutplates; they also improve repeatability and minimize maintenance risk. The elimination of rivets means eliminating a potential source of corrosion and/or leaks as well as stress concentrations associated with rivet holes.
