Click Bond, Inc. is excited to announce that Kate Hutter Mason has been elected Chair of its Board of Directors. Mason is the daughter of company founders Charlie and Collie Hutter and sister to its CEO, Karl Hutter. She is a longtime member of the board, leader of the company’s philanthropic efforts, and former Director, Strategic Initiatives for Click Bond, a Carson City-based manufacturer of adhesive-bonded fastening solutions for the aerospace, defense, space exploration, maritime, and industrial markets.

Mason was elected in April 2026 by the board, which includes members of the Hutter family as well as two new board members, Patrick Marotta, President & CEO of Marotta Controls, and Dr. John Langford, Cofounder & CEO of Electra.Aero, both of whom joined in November 2025 and were the first external members of the board for the family-owned and operated company.

As the youngest member of the board, Mason’s election to Chair signals a growing commitment to embracing innovation, fostering next-generation talent, and ensuring sustainability as Click Bond looks ahead to the future of aerospace assembly. She views her role as one in which she will provide steady governance for the 39-year-old business as it works to achieve its long-term goals, while also remaining agile and focused on creative solutions in the face of turbulent times and unpredictability in the world. With an extensive background of board involvement for several businesses and nonprofits, as well as a demonstrated passion for ensuring a people-first company culture, Mason brings a unique perspective to her role of guiding the Board in its work to ensure the health and well-being of Click Bond and the realization of its mission.

“I’ve held several different roles inside Click Bond, but for me, the election to Board Chair really felt like it spoke to how we keep stewarding the future of this company with an eye toward its long-term vision,” said Mason, who especially credits her mother, cofounder Collie Hutter, for demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit, visionary leadership, commitment to growing the manufacturing talent pipeline, and desire to support people. Mrs. Hutter will continue serving on the Board as Chair Emerita.

“I felt like this was an opportunity for me to support this next phase of her life and play a role in the caretaking of this company that she and my father built,” Mason added. “I hope that I can continuously inject creative thought and people-centric decision-making into the Board’s work. We will continue to operate with a focus on how our employee population thrives as well as what we need going into the future in order to prosecute our work effectively. I’m so honored that the other members of our Board had the confidence in me to elect me to this role, and I take seriously our charge to provide the best possible value for both our external and internal customers.”

About Mason’s election to Chair, Collie Hutter commented, “I enthusiastically support Kate's chairmanship, as she is very knowledgeable about the company and is a strong and organized leader.”
