Important Certifications Open Doors for Click Bond

Click Bond received approvals to join the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) in May 2023.  Click Bond adds JOSCAR to its list of other industry certifications and accreditations, including, but not limited to:  AS-9100, ISO 14001, and NADCAP.  JOSCAR’s roots are in the United Kingdom and is a “community” that is enabled by Hellios - a supplier and risk management company that collects and validates supplier information for aerospace and defense.  Click Bond was inspired by its customer BAE to apply for and obtain the accreditation.

JOSCAR companies are used by primes, like BAE Systems, Boeing, Elbit, General Dynamics, Leidos, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, MBDA, the UK Ministry of Defence, Rolls Royce, and Raytheon UK to determine if a prospective supplier is “fit for business”. Applicants are scrutinized in many areas, including financial health, ethics, health & safety, environment & sustainability, business continuity, quality, IT & cyber security.  More info can be found here: https://Helios.com/JOSCAR/.

Also in May, Click Bond renewed two certifications with application to the maritime and energy markets - American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and Lloyd’s Register.  The ABS is an American maritime classification society that offers global classification services to the marine, offshore, and gas industries. It certifies the Click Bond products that have earned type approvals to a minimum set of regulatory, technical, and safety requirements, including studs, standoffs, cable tie-mounts, insulation pins, and flush deck rings.  Click Bond’s next ABS recertification will take place in three years.

The Lloyd’s Register certification covers products used in marine offshore applications, including those involving the U.S. Navy. Click Bond’s Lloyd’s certification will extend through 2028.
