COVID Donation Drive Surpasses Goal to Support Communities
Click Bonders Raise $15,040 for COVID First Responders!
Click Bonders quickly stepped up to the plate to support their local communities during the COVID pandemic. We surpassed the challenge posed to raise $7,500, ultimately raising $7,540 (as of May 6). An additional match of $7,500 from Click Bond was included for a total of $15,040!
The initial funds raised by Click Bonders were evenly distributed as follows to these charities facing acute need during this pandemic:
• Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City, NV: $2,610 (for emergent needs related to the COVID-response effort)
• Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV: $2,390 (for protective equipment and/or support for health care workers on the front lines)
• Watertown Food Bank in Watertown, CT: $2,000 (for food going to families in need in the Watertown and Oakville areas).
“Carson Tahoe Health Center for Philanthropy is grateful for our partnership [with Click Bond] and heartened by the giving spirit of its team,” said Amy Hyne-Sutherland from Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. “Your donations supported the purchase of life-saving technology and equipment needed to protect our patients and our caregivers from the spread of disease.”
“Click Bond donations are a huge help to the local community of Watertown and Oakville,” commented Jeanne Vichioli, Social Services at the Watertown Parks and Recreation Food Bank. “Not only does the money help buy groceries for families in need, but it also provides support for those who have lost their jobs and may need financial assistance.”
