On October 23, members of the Carson City Community Outreach Team (COT) had the pleasure of representing Click Bond at the Second Annual Fall Harvest Classic golf tournament to benefit the Dayton Food Pantry. Held at the Dayton Valley Golf Course, the event support families who are food insecure in Lyon County, where hunger has increased by 80% in the community over the last year.
Despite the cold, participants turned out to support a great cause and help their neighbors. In addition to Click Bond’s sponsorship of Hole #1, COT members Sarah Krites, Princess Deusenberry, and Ali Tucker were present to speak with participants about Click Bond’s work and products. I’m pleased to report that the event raised $9,00 for our Lyon County food pantries which will provide approximately 5,140 meals to the public. Thanks to the COT members who took part in this fun and rewarding event, which is another example of why it’s so worthwhile to be a part of Click Bond’s Community Outreach Team.
