Click Bond Provides Opportunity for Engineering Student

Click Bond is a company that values investing in a young, energetic future. In keeping with this goal, Click Bond recently hosted Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) mechanical engineering student Jessica Hatrick for a job-shadowing experience.
Despite the snowy Connecticut weather, Jess braved the storm to complete a weeklong shadow of employees in Building 18. She was able to spend a day experiencing each Watertown department, including Engineering, Toolroom, Production, Quality Control, and Cleaning. Under the guidance of many experienced employees, Jess was introduced to the fundamental processes that keep Building 18 running smoothly. She learned about subjects such as tool design, machining, press setup, and eyelet theory.
“I really enjoy the company culture of Click Bond,” Jess said of her experience. “Everyone I spoke to was extremely welcoming, and I was thrilled to see their commitment to nurturing new employees. A special thanks to those who took the time to show me all about Click Bond.”
