Stakeholder companies lobby federal legislators for policies that support the health of general aviation (GA).
Washington, DC - Click Bond, a member of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), joined several other stakeholder companies in Washington, D.C. to lobby federal legislators for policies that support the health of the general aviation (GA) industry in the United States. Prime among industry’s concerns are defeating proposals to privatize the nation’s air traffic control (ATC) system, and achieving faster, safer certification of new GA technologies by the Federal Aviation Administration. Click Bond benefits from a robust GA sector because it supplies parts to airframers like Cessna and Gulfstream, but also is an operator of GA aircraft which aids in rapid customer response and better parts design. GAMA members held meetings with 140 House and Senate members during the single day.
